### Where we stayed in Genoa: a charming B&B in a palazzo

During our stay in [Genoa](https://voyagesurlacomete.fr/en/blog/genoa-in-4-days-what-to-see-and-do/), we stayed at a gorgeous B&B right in the heart of the historic center. Tucked inside a typical Genoese palazzo, this place has been completely renovated and decorated by its owners, Fanny and Elena. We stayed in the Anastasia room, romantic and flooded with light. It's a really lovely spot we'd recommend if you want an authentic getaway and to explore the city on foot.

### Where we stayed in Marrakech: a riad we fell for 

Which riad should you pick in Marrakech, and which neighborhood should you stay in? That's the big question we ask ourselves before every stay in the ochre city, since there's such a huge range of accommodation on offer. We'd recommend Riad LallaBaya, where we've already stayed twice: tastefully renovated from top to bottom, this riad has polished, refined decor and always warm hospitality. On our second stay, we slept in the Khozama suite, a cozy nook in shades of powder pink and black.
